CUSA Indoor Turf Facilities
Soon CUSA players will be able to train year-round with no interruptions for rain, lightning or snow.
CUSA is building a full FIFA-size (325” x 200’) turf training and game facility.
A 20-year ground lease has been signed and the land has been cleared in preparation for construction to begin.
Final plans are in the process of being approved by Washington Township.
This is a Two-Phase Project.
Phase I: A lighted 65,000 sq ft outdoor turf facility is expected to be completed around September 2019.
CUSA will use this as a training and game facility in conjunction with Forest Field, Oak Grove, and Legacy Field at Magsig.
Phase II: Making the Turf a Full-Size Indoor facility.
CUSA is simultaneously working on plans to enclose this new turf facility so it may be used year-round in all weather and temperatures.
CUSA has hired sports consultants to develop a detailed study and plan to enclose the new turf facility as soon as possible so it can be utilized for both training and indoor league games during the winter months.
Soon CUSA will announce plans and a timeline to raise the capital and resources to execute this project to provide CUSA teams and players with the finest Club training facilities in the State of Ohio.
