GO5 Gold, B03 Gold, B02/01 Gold, youth coach for the recreation academy program.

Bio

I have played and coached soccer for 49 years. I had the unique opportunity to travel to South Africa in 2009 and coach a Cincinnati select team and win the Hope Cup. I have been fortunate to have coached high school, select and worked with the ODP programs in Kentucky and Ohio.

Birth Place

Centerville, Ohio

Coaching Education

I have completed the National USSF B and Youth license courses. I have been a member of the United Soccer Coaches Association since 1991.

Coaching Experience

I began my coaching career at Milford High School as an assistant girls varsity coach in 1986. I have been the head coach of Mariemont Boys varsity, Mason Boys varsity and Bishop Fenwick Girls varsity teams. I have coached select soccer since 1983 at Team Cincinnati, Sycamore Arsenal, NKSA, Warren County, CSA, Cincy SC and currently CUSA.

Coaching Philosophy

I have a German style philosophy. I stress a strong defensive posture and seek to counter my opponent getting numbers up on the flanks. I enjoy coaching the beautiful Brazilian style possession game as well.
