I started coaching back in the UK at the collegiate level before moving into club soccer. In the US I have coached for the MLS franchise New York Red Bulls as well as a Bayern Munich affiliate club in Arizona.
I coached professionally for FC Arizona in the NPSL league, as Assistant Coach and Head Goal Keeper Coach.
I have also coached ODP in three states.
My coaching philosophy is heavily predicated on technical dominance of the ball coupled with the principles of positional play (Juego de Posicion). A progressive approach to soccer, helping to develop creative and problem solving players that can integrate in to any team.
"Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your team mate".
