CUSA Partner with Dayton Children's

CUSA is proud to again partner with Dayton Children’s Sports Medicine to provide athletic trainer and medical services throughout our CUSA Cup Labor Day tournament.

Their sports medicine team is specially trained to care for athletes.

Their services will be available throughout the weekend, should an athlete become injured.

We are also excited to announce an expansion of our partnership.

Dayton Children's Sports Medicine is our new diamond level partner.

What does that mean for you?

Dayton Children’s sports medicine offers variety of services and programs to meet the needs of patients, families, coaches, and athletic associations—from injury prevention education to concussion management. In partnership with other top specialists at Dayton Children’s, we are always developing new programs for sports-related conditions.

Our program is designed to be a resource for all the athlete’s health care needs.

Call our office at 937-641-3939 or chat with us through your Healthy Roster app!

This partnership is going to provide tremendous benefits to our coaches, players and their families.

Dayton Children's was an obvious choice as a corporate partner as we thought very highly of the services they had previously delivered to CUSA.

We are very excited that they thought enough of our organization to step up their partnership to this level.

If you have a chance this weekend during the CUSA Cup please stop by and meet the team from Dayton's Children and thank them for their support.

It is important for our members to let our partners know how important they are in helping us develop and grow our club.

Hopefully this is the first of many exciting partnerships that we will be announcing in the upcoming months.

CUSA is also delighted to announce that Dayton Children's will be acting as Athletic Trainers for CUSA NPL and MRL home games, for the U14 to U19 age groups.

This is a significant commitment to player development and player 'wellness' from both CUSA and Dayton Children's.

Having Athletic Trainers on hand during home games is of huge benefit for players that physically 'go at it' and put their body on the line during games.

Dayton Children's are also going to provide Athletic Trainers for our practice sessions during the week so that they will be on hand for injured players at Forrest Field.

Dayton Children's and Healthy Roster

Dayton Children's are dedicated to giving parents, coaches and players access to sports medicine experts during every practice and game.

That's why they have partnered with Healthy Roster to provide on-demand athletic training services.

Healthy Roster is a concussion and injury communication platform created specifically for high schools, middle schools, club and select sports organizations, and youth leagues.

The Healthy Roster app allows coaches and parents to video chat with a certified athletic trainer wherever they are, on the field or at home, from the convenience of their smart phone, tablet or PC.

With the Healthy Roster app:

  • Certified athletic trainers can quickly triage injuries and provide suggestions on how to handle an injury

  • Parents and coaches receive instant injury updates

  • Access resource tools to discover how to treat an injury from home

If you're interested in learning more about Healthy Roster and how it might help your organizations coaches and parents, please contact Jamie Broz – 937-641-3018.
